For the better part of a year, I’ve been obsessing over one question - why does loss have to be accompanied by so much complexity and confusion?
I’ve spent dozens of hours with the attorneys and CPAs who live this every single day … and I’ve spent hundreds of hours myself, going through it, twice, designing solutions for it, and now building tools to help solve at least the part you shouldn’t have to worry about.
So, we built something for the professional who sits with families on the worst day of their lives.
And then… this morning, it hit me that - over the next year, the professionals already using Afterpath now will help 50 to 80 of those families get through it with a little less confusion, and a little more dignity. 🙏
And that’s the whole point.
